Looking to buy a gun from armslist. Just wondering if anyone has purchased one off the site? Is money order a normal way to pay? Thanks for the info

I have only ordered online from buds guns amd it’s always credit card #. Never heard of a money order to buy a gun. Hopefully someone will chime in as I am curious also.
Have you tried buds guns? I have had great service from them amd they are usually cheaper than others.

I bought 3 guns now off armslist. But all 3 of them were local. If you can meet at a ffl dealer. If you pay a ffl they usually transfer names for u and it’s easy. I did it at a pawn shop and then i had peace of mind everything was legit

First are you having it shipped, or is it local?

If shipped, here is how it’ll work. You paid the cellar with a money order so they will have their money. Firearm ships out to an FFL dealer, and they log the gun in as part of their inventory. If you don’t pass your background check, the dealer has your gun, and the seller has your money… And you have nothing.

If it’s local multiple do money order or cash, and no personal checks

I bought locally off of Armslist. Have also sold there. Everything I’ve done has been cash money.

I’m buying the gun. It’s out of state so I need to send money. But they are asking for a money order rather than PayPal. Just found that odd

No money orders and I would insist on FFL , if it was me. Don’t sound legit.
