Inflatable Fishing Pontoons w/ Trolling Motor

First time poster, long time lurker.

I have been looking at finally getting an inflatable for Pyramid Lake, because I am tired of seeing the hogs get caught just outside of casting distance!

Only caveat, I have a car. So I was looking at some of the inflatable pontoons, hoping that the thing will fit in the trunk of the car/backseat if folded down.

    Maxxon XPW240

    Colorado XT

These are the two I am looking into.

The only concern I have with the Maxxon is it’s low profile. And for those of you who have been to Pyramid, know that when the wind picks up unexpectedly the lake turns into a bit of a nightmare. I am concerned with getting drenched. In the middle of December, that doesn’t sound like a lot of fun. But the rest of the pontoon looks spot-on.

At half the price, the Colorado looks like it might be a better buy since, waves won’t matter much due to the height off the water.

Has anyone used either of these?

As for trolling motors/fish finders and a power source. I am looking for any recommendations.

Lastly, will I be able deflate either of these bad boys and fit them in a Nisan Sentra?

Have you looked at Kennedy Aluminum Mini-toon

I have a 1970’s 11′ Weers paddle version of a pontoon boat (very similar)
and love fishing from it. Boat and trailer weights about 400 pounds and I pull it around my yard with my lawn tracker. Could easily be towed around with a small car.

The kennedy new is about $2400 more or less with a trailer closer to $3000. But I bought my paddle boat used for less than $1000. I have a 30 lb thrust Minn-kota that I used on it, put I prefer leg power (troll, “spot-loc”, creeping into weedy shallows) while I am fishing.

Here is a picture of a boat similar to mine
