In-Depth Media Productions, Inc. (IDMP) is looking for an experienced video camera operator and editor to join our production team. IDMP is a fast growing media company specializing in the documentation of outdoor pursuits – namely hunting and fishing. The ideal applicant for this position would possess the following skills and meet the following criteria:
Applicant must live within 20 miles of MPLS / St. Paul or be willing to relocate. Telecommuting is NOT an option for this position.
Applicant must possess experience using professional video equipment and have a desire to improve their existing skill set.
Applicant should possess an understanding of shot composition, shot selection and how to best use available light to capture high quality footage.
Applicant must be capable of following directions with attention to fine detail.
Applicant must have experience with one or more of the following editing platforms – Adobe Premiere Pro and/or FCP7. Experience using Adobe After Effects is a plus.
Applicant must have a flexible schedule and be willing to adjust days and times worked to meet production schedules.
Applicant must be willing to travel.
Applicant must be physically fit and be comfortable working outdoors. Applicants will be expected to perform duties under all weather conditions including hot, wet, windy or cold conditions.
Applicant with some level of personal experience as a hunter or angler preferred.
Applicant must be adept at functioning productively as a member of a production team and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Applicant must be adept at performing duties while adhering to strict delivery deadlines.
Applicant must have a good driving record, possess a valid passport (or be eligible to obtain one) and be eligible to enter Canada.
