If you like working outdoors and you have experience running video equipment… or just think you have the passion and work ethic to keep up with the IDO Team… this might be the perfect job for you!

    In-Depth Media Productions, Inc. (IDMP) is looking for an experienced video camera operator and editor to join our production team. IDMP is a fast growing media company specializing in the documentation of outdoor pursuits – namely hunting and fishing. Examples of the completed work to be performed by the applicant can be found at our Youtube Channel – https://www.youtube.com/user/InDepthOutdoorsTV

    The ideal applicant for this position would possess the following skills and meet the following criteria:

  • Applicant must live within 20 miles of MPLS / St. Paul or be willing to relocate. Telecommuting is NOT an option for this position.
  • Applicant must possess experience using professional video equipment and have a desire to improve their existing skill set.
  • Applicant should possess an understanding of shot composition, shot selection and how to best use available light to capture high quality footage.
  • Applicant must be capable of following directions with attention to fine detail.
  • Applicant must have experience with one or more of the following editing platforms – Adobe Premiere Pro and/or FCP7. Experience using Adobe After Effects is a plus.
  • Applicant must have a flexible schedule and be willing to adjust days and times worked to meet production schedules.
  • Applicant must be willing to travel.
  • Applicant must be physically fit and be comfortable working outdoors. Applicants will be expected to perform duties under all weather conditions including hot, wet, windy or cold conditions.
  • Applicant with some level of personal experience as a hunter or angler preferred.
  • Applicant must be adept at functioning productively as a member of a production team and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Applicant must be adept at performing duties while adhering to strict delivery deadlines.
  • Applicant must have a good driving record, possess a valid passport (or be eligible to obtain one) and be eligible to enter Canada.
  • Note: This posting is for a full-time, salaried position with compensation that includes Paid Time Off (PTO) and competitive benefits package that includes health and retirement plan with employer contribution.

    It’s more fun doing it for free less expectations. Gotta wonder how hard this is making Ben laugh. I know he will not be aloud to do interviews due to lack of him keeping his composure. But him and BK will watch from other side of a two way mirror.
