Well we made it out fishing last despite the rain and cold and I wanted to give you the report!
We fished from 7:45 – 10:30 or so and we caught 4 total. All of our fish came on the spot south of xxxx. We did try the spot down the river xxxxxx but the water was very high and it was just not producing much. With the water being high it was tough in general….
We got three on Secret 7 and one on cut bait. Nothing on the Sudden Impact but once I got two on the Secret 7 I switched 3 rods to that on put away the sudden impact. Its crazy that I have never used dip baits before, they really work well! We only picked up the one on the cut bait so without the dip baits it would have been a very slow night.
Attached are a couple pics of the bigger fish we caught. The first fish we got was about 10 pounds, my dad go that one, and mine was about 5 or so… Overall not fast and furious night but with the high water and weather conditions we were pretty happy. My Dad had fun and I think he might be hooked on cats!!
