    It’s from Super Troopers. The cop in the video is the actor Erik Stolhanske (from Super Troopers) and he is from MN.

    Mich “Golden” Light is a region specific beer. We used to have to bootleg it to nascar races. People always wanted to feel the can with the ridges on it. I heard they introduced it in the Midwest first, and it outsold bud,Bud light. They didn’t want that so the kept it isolated here to the Midwest. Just what I heard. No time to research it. Lunch is almost over. lol

    Heck when I was in the black hills I asked for a Mich Golden and the first thing the bartender asked was “are you from Minnesota?”

    I can only find Mich Golden at 1 place near me (only the light, not the diesel version), but it is my go to fishing beer in the fall and winter for the most part. We used to have it in a lot of place 15+ yrs ago, then it all but disappeared until a couple years ago. Make sure to get it on tap when I can in MN
