Went out today. Put in at Prue and went to the new bridge area. River is clear 2 foot clarity water temp 33.6 went back down to the boat club some ice floating below Barto but caution will get you through. Fish biting in the deep holes jig/minnow caught 20 only one short but ballance nice 2–2 1/2 pounders with one maybe 3#.
Can you direct me to charts of the IL River? Hot Spots or ACOE maps? I’m looking for depths/fishing info.
I got mine from the armycore website. There is also a hotspots map with the contures. I was out on sunday and the bite was pretty good. I cant give alot of info because I have a tourney there in a week and a half. 
It sure felt good to float on water insted of sitting on it.

Thanks John, I’ll try both at least a Hot Spots might tell me areas to consentrate on. Never been on the Ill. River, but want to give it a couple of trips this year.
