Fished the Illinois today with Capt.John (Rocky) Mannerino today. Rain, snow, sleet and hail with winds out of the west at 30mph with gust up to 40. We managed to boat 25 legals and one short. We had a great time but we were happy to call it a day after 5 hours.

I think boating that many makes up for the weather. Sounds like a fun day.

Thanks guys. We caught all the fish in in a area that was only about a 100′ long. We would catch 4 or 5 fish in a couple of minutes and then they would disappear and return 20 minutes later. Super Flukes,Wallywachers and Ringworms were our best plastics for the day.

It was all my pleasure Wapo. Looking forward to doing it again. I’m going to do something different with the bread next time. Sandwich size loafs. They will be easier to eat.LOL
