Just another reason this is the best time of the year! And the Wild pulled out a big win tonight! Canada has looked very good, I hope the U.S. can give them a game.

I have seen a little of it, but not enough. can’t get enough hockey. I hope to catch most if not all of the game tomorrow.

Some real talent on display. Have to marvel at how fast some countries have come up as far as consistently producing numbers of junior, college, and NHL talent. If you compare 20 years ago to today, hockey has come a long, long way in 20 years as an international sport.

Red and white will come away with a win, but there will also be blue on their jerseys. chased

In case you guys didn’t notice, under 18’s have to wear a cage so it’s easy to pick them out. It amazes me what under 18 talent is out there. They interviewed one kid who had played two H.S. varsity games then found out he was invited to the NTDP. It’s nice to see a Gopher out there as well.

Denmark had a huge shoot out win over the Swiss today. I thought they said it was Denmark’s first win in like 16 tournament games. They have a great goalie. Its funny because he is only about 5′ 10″. Seems like every goalie is 6′ 2″ to 6′ 4″ nowadays.

Good fast hard hitting game, goal tending was great on both sides. Czec’s just beat Russia 4-1, we now play the mighty Danes(hot off there first ever win)in the 1/4 finals. USA will be dancing with the Russians. If we meet again in this tourney it will be in the finals. Good Luck to Team USA,and

Just got done watching the game. I had to work so I recorded it. that has to be one of the most physical games I’ve watched, including the NHL. the back and forth play was great and the goaltending on both sides was solid. hopefully the teams will meet again.

I forgot to hit record on the US game before I left for work. I went through and am recording every televised game so I don’t miss anymore.

Me and all my buddies agree that this is the best hockey tournament to watch out of any tournament in the world. I think its even better than the Olympics to watch.
