Hey guys, I’ve seen a few of the pro staff videos on tip up rigs, in particular I like the Floro leader with a treble hook and a tag end with a weight to keep a sucker or shiner on bottom but I know there is different variations that can be used. What is everyone using for their set ups when using iFish Pro… thanks

If you can find VMC Sure Set treble hooks I would highly recommend them! I run a sinker about 6 inches above the treble. Above that I run a swivel with a slip sinker. I like the fact that if a fish grabs the bait the slip sinker sinks to the bottom and the line can slide through it. I actually got the slip sinker idea from James Holst and it works!

Definitely a Fluoro leader as well.

Hey Chris, thanks for that. I actually have been looking for Sure Set Trebles and I think VMC has stopped making them (I could be wrong) but I haven’t been able to find them anywhere.

Otherwise, not a bad idea. Thanks again

This was discussed after the previous weeks show. I believe it is on pg 2 now.
