so I have the new version of the ifish pro loops and I didn’t like how you cant take them off without taking off the hook on the line. so I came up with a little mod for them. I took a utility knife and cut one of the sides so that there is just a tiny slit and it works very well. it is like the old model now but wont come off nearly as easy. they work great. The picture is the best I could get it to focus on the cuts.

I was looking into purchasing the ifishpro, but did not like the idea of having that loop on my line, and how bulky they are. I purchased a Finicky Fooler a few weeks ago because nothing clips to the line and it stores very compact. Used it once so far and worked well for walleye and a few perch. Have not tested it yet in extreme conditions, but I’m thinking it should work well with a foam hole cover.
