How’s everyone liking for overall warmth, I take it is not waterproof?

The winter hoodie is probably about the thickest material you can find in a hoodie. It is not waterproof. I like the zipper in the front. it is not tight around your throat.

It’s a true heavy weight hoodie. I wish I had it last year. Haven’t tested it for waterproof.

I’ve been through a few of them.

Excellent quality- if I remember correctly they are white bear hoodies and I don’t recall the weight. When IDO first released them, James shared the specs on them.
    Few key features
    Much heavier than Carharts
They run a little big for size stated
    Not waterproof
I like the Velcro pocket within the pouch, great for keys,…
As mentioned, partial zipper at neck opening. Very nice for doubling up hoodies
I have a habit of pushing the sleeves up my forearms and the cuffs held up much better than other brands I’ve worn

Yes, they are great hoodies. Not waterproof. Randy is right, White Bear makes them. In fact, I ordered one direct from White Bear a few years ago because – at the time – IDO didn’t sell tall sizes but White Bear does. So now that’s my ‘work’ hoodie. And I have an official ‘dress’ IDO hoodie for important functions. Like catching micro perch.

Not a big fan of the logos down the sleeves. Otherwise I’d get one – love warm hoodies.

You can buy the old white bear hooded sweatshirts from the company direct. I am pretty sure the newer style is a different brand but I have not looked

I thought IDO sold a winter hoodie and a lighter weight one as well.

I don’t think White Bear sells directly. I have bought several through Amazon.

    Best hoodie Ive ever owned.

Curious why it matters. I have multiple Carhart items with sleeve logos. They all seem like quality items. Maybe I’m missing something. You won’t find warmer than the IDO hoodie.

Obviously doesn’t affect the performance. I’m just not crazy about clothing that turns me into a billboard. No big deal
