How were you guys able to locate these cribs on the lake? I have a cabin on Tabor lake north of Danbury, WI and think that there may be cribs in the lake (I’m new to the lake)

Check to see if the lake has an association or group that places the cribs. The local baitshops would also have records of where they were placed. During the summer months it is very easy to spot them on your sonar.

cool show idea, I really like the use of the camera’s for actual fishing vs scouting, that’s how I ice fish….

James, do you think the lights on cameras have a negative affect on fish at night?

Sometimes. I’ve seen it go both ways. I’ve seen fish drawn to the lights. I’ve seen fish flee for the hills the second lights are turned on.

I think it is very situational and there’s no hard and fast rule. Kinda like the way some days fish will eat spoons with a rattle then the next they won’t touch one.

I’m surprised we weren’t able to see a pile of shad raps from the summer months. That crappie shot was interesting.
