No, we’re still on the new show per week schedule. This morning Fox messed up and re-aired last week’s episode. This week’s show is from Rainy where Andy Fiolka and I got on some nice sturgeon. I’ll be releasing that on Youtube this AM.

Thanks for posting it James, looking forward to watching it this evening.
April 19, 2015 at 10:02 am #1535735Obviously I was disappointed to see last weeks episode rather than a new one. But, I learned a few things that I missed from last week, so it was still a great IDO morning on FSN!
April 19, 2015 at 11:31 am #1535759Thanks for using YouTube! I “cut the cord” last year and discovered IDO while searching online for fishing vids. Now the kids and I watch all your episodes via Chromecast on the big TV. The show is very well done, and the community/forums keeps me coming back to the website!

Here’s the “missing” episode that didn’t air on FSN today. At least we can get some mileage out of it by sharing it online.
Some call them “ugly” but we think a fish that fights the way these Rainy River sturgeon do is a special kind of “purty!” In-Depth Outdoors Host James Holst and Andy Fiolka spend a day fishing 4 Mile Bay and remind us all why this special bite should be on everyone’s annual trip calendar!

April 19, 2015 at 8:19 pm #1535913Thanks for the update James. I dont think you guys should get the summer off and keep producing great shows! I ended up watching last week’s episode all over again in its entirety. The rippin raps are great. I just started getting down on the Mississippi, and it is producing pretty well.
The fact that the variance of how much torque to lift up and vary the vibration was great to see again and I noticed they wanted a bit slower and less aggressive presentation where I was fishing- great show!
rogerPosts: 149April 21, 2015 at 4:11 pm #1536592This is obviously a great bait to fish for walleyes in many different bodies of water but one key thing to remember when fishing this bait is to vary the presentation to match what the fish want. This bait offers three presentations at once one is a rise or jump two is a fall and three is a pause all incorporated in at once.
April 22, 2015 at 10:53 am #1536843Thanks Paul. Yes, I have realized that speed, amount of vibration, how long/fast the rise, how long the pause/fall, slowly lowering the bait, or letting it hit the bottom, etc, all plays into reading what the fish want.
April 24, 2015 at 8:26 pm #1537755FSN did show the Rainy Sturgeon show twice late this week and I got it to tape, so I did see it on the big screen!!! It is still a bucket list trip for me!!!

FSN made it right with us by showing it 3 times this week. One time per day Thursday thru Saturday. It stinks that the mix up happened but they’ve more than made it up to us.
April 25, 2015 at 9:08 am #1537849Thank God I have the tape every episode feature on my DTV, its helped me watch many things that I didn’t get to watch from this to weather blackouts and others…

April 25, 2015 at 9:44 am #1537856For those of you who might have missed the sturgeon show, I just saw that FSN will air it again at 1:00 p.m. today… For me, its time to chase a few crappies…
