IDO TV – Episode 3 "Lantern Light Eyes on Leech Lake"

Kudos to Ben and company for the awesome camera work. Yea, nice to see James and Joel catching a few eyes and giving great tips in catching fish too.

Viewing it from a graphics arts education and years of photography work, Ben made the show. Night work is a huge pain in the butt for color balance, Ecspecially with intense orange light of lanterns. Most night scenes are washed out from spot lights and look horrible. As always, quality produces quality. Great job on pulling that show together. Looked great

Another great show. As I was watching the show, I thinking some of the same things that Randy W. posted on the night time camera work, great job.

Great show. It did have a really great look to it with the lighting etc.

Couldn’t agree more Randy. Day-in, day-out, those guys are busting their butts to make everything as perfect as possible. From all the angles that require them to lay in freezing water and snowbanks, to the fine detail work they have to do with frozen fingers, it’s not an easy job. I know from working with them, that they get just as much excitement from the perfect-shot, as we do from catching the fish.

Where in wisconisn are you guys planning on fishing for this weeks show?

Wisconsin River near Wausau. We’ve had quite a few requests for a river ice fishing show. ..so we’re taking a stab at it.

It was good to see James get some Pout-Payback at Joel from last year! Lots of good tips guys, nice work to the camera crew too!
