Are you sure you were not standing on your head when you took it?

Friday night that very well could have happened. Woke up Sat and felt like everything was upside down.

Andy may have a better idea, but I think we hovered around the 15-20 people mark. Being we were all fishing, we didn’t all meet up at one time, so it was tough to keep tally.

Since there wasn’t much fish brought top-side, we’ll have to settle for a sunset shot. Taken Saturday evening in the portable, waiting for the elusive ML Walleye that never showed its face until early Sunday morning. Drifter took one about the same time that I may be in. All I heard was “Move that piece of crap, you’re in my picture”…

    Truck travel everywhere easy enough?

    What’s the snowpack like?

What are guys getting for gas mileage?

Can’t help you with current conditions, the GTG was two weeks ago. A lot can change in two weeks especially this time of year.

At the time there was 26-28 inches of ice. Snow pack was fairly hard and settled in. Couple trucks (not in out group) pulling hardsides got stuck and pulled out OK with another vehicle. I think the area got a heavy snowfall about 10 days ago.

I have been in touch with the target establishments, and yes…there will be plenty of fresh boxes of cardboard crack available for you.

Oh…wasn’t this cardboard or “Blue smoothie” drifters crack? smile

I’m thinking I would have caught more fish if I would have taken’d Will’s advice and stayed out of merican’s house. (shots of captain are brutal)

So was that Crown Apple… doah

But hey, serious fishing this year. We will catch more and bigger walleye this time. whistling

And for those that worry, we will keep it straight…just like last year for fishing opportunities. Want to keep this safe and successful.

That is kind of how we had it last year. Kind of a combination of wheelhouses and portables surrounding a sleeper house that one of the attendees had with his group. There were some that ventured off and fished different areas to try own their own, but most of us gathered a couple times at various locations on and off the ice.

If you’ve had a chance to read through this thread, you’ll get an idea how it shaped up. And that the buildup almost exceeded the actual event. crazy

I suppose I should go ahead and make the official announcement soon. cool
