Our 2005 Chevy Silverado Duramax was as reliable as they come but with 377,000 miles we thought it unwise to try and run it for season 12 knowing we’d be adding another 45,000 miles. It was tough to say goodbye to a truck that never once left us on the side of the road but once we had found the old girl a new home we replaced it with a 2018 Chevy Silverado Duramax, of course! These trucks have come a long way with regards to ride quality and refinement but at the core they’re built to chew up road miles and tow anything you dare hook up to it! waytogo

If you see us out on the road give us a wave and a honk!

    Love the ARE topper!!!

So do we. Matches the lines of the truck really nice. We also added a bed slide to make getting at gear a heck of a lot easier.

Brandl in Aitkin? Don’t suppose that we’d see that in the Aitkin fish house parade on Black Friday next year? wink

Yup, same dealership. Can’t comment on the parade as it hasn’t been mentioned..but one never knows. The staff at Brandl have been great to work with and are my kind of people. If they asked I’d definitely show up.

I remember seeing pics of snow and ice covered gear before you got the topper on the last truck. Now a new truck and a fully decked out trailer for all the gear, things have come a long way since those days. Nice job James. waytogo

Sweet ride James! waytogo I totally understand the reasons for a new ride with hot bites to get to and TV deadlines to meet it just makes sense. The only issue is the IDO LOGO should be bigger than the brandl logo. whistling

    Well done!

Brandl took care of me when the tranny fell out of the Dodge. With 200,000 miles on my 2014 i’ll be stopping and seeing them in the not to distant future.

Good friend has a 2017 who tows serious toys around everywhere and has been very happy thus far. Pretty hard to tell those things are diesels when running.

Congrats on the ride, that thing is sweeet. toast

Brandl Motors had the honor of toting parade grand marshal Ron Schara (and Raven too) a few years back. Perhaps someday you could be parade grand marshal behind that truck. cool

jester jester jester You just got the motor broken in. Someone will get another 300K out of that

Nice looking new ride! toast I’ve been thinking new over the last couple years, but that’s some serious $$$ for new truck smell.
My ’01 HD was retired at about 600K miles. Wisconsin salt rotted the cab off the frame and there was nothing left to weld/bolt it together. Engine & Tranny went in another truck and still going strong
My ’04 is at 310K and our ’03 is at 294K. Can not bring myself around to selling them to buy new when I get such good performance out of them toast

When I saw the Brandl hoody I thought you made the switch to a Dodge! Although the dealership(s) not in the family any more, they are great to work with still and the car dealership was proudly started by my grandpa Charlie Brandl after returning from WW2!

He bought a Chevy so Chevrolet must be under the Brandl banner now also.

How do you like the bed slide? I have been thinking about getting one but was not sure it was worth the money.
