    Date & Time
    Saturday, July 16, 2022
    5pm-10pm

    Location
    Rich Valley Complex
1841 105th Street East, Inver Grove Heights 55077

It’s time to coordinate another unofficial IDO gathering! Let’s get together and get some facetime with our fellow IDOers! This is for anyone who wants to come and say “howdy”, whether you’re part of IDO Fishing, Hunting, Ice, or all three. Hesitant to come because you don’t really know anyone? That’s the PERFECT reason to come say hi! These gatherings are unofficial and just meant to be a fun way for anyone who wants to gather and meet fellow IDOers.

I’ll bring various baked goods from “Sharon’s Bakery”. 😋 I’m thinking we can all bring something to share, either food or drink! Very casual of course, so no worries if you’re not able to bring something fancy or anything at all – please still come to visit!

Please save the date and to reply to this thread so we know how many we’ll have coming. I’ve already made the reservation with the city of IGH for the park pavilion and the park also has indoor and portable restrooms, outdoor grills, playground, and various ball fields.

Hope to see a lot of you there!

I have something already going on at that time but will try to move it. Thank you Sharon for setting this up. Your baked goods alone are worth stopping in.

Dam, I’m headed to Rainey that day unless some care giving issues make me need to cancel out. That said put me down as a solid maybe.

Thanks for setting this up, been watching for it.

I dont think I will make it this year, Im still remembering the effects of the chili cook off last year.
I had gas so bad my truck was getting 80 mpg driving 75 mph in a 45 mph headwind.

With the price of gas these days, maybe another chili cook off would be a good idea! There’ll be a fight over the leftovers!

Sharon you should do a desert baking contest. Some of your pies, bars, crisps, cookies, cakes ect. You would have a HUGE turnout if we was just eatin and not cooking & baking. jester waytogo yay

I usually bring my homemade baked goods to each of my gatherings mrgreen , aside from the chili cook-off.

You guys can definitely bring store-bought stuff to share for the July 16th gathering – no need to go all out for something fancy. A tub of potato salad or bag of chips to share would be fantastic! waytogo

There is a SLIGHT chance I can make an appearance. However, I would have both daughters with me. We’ll see!

Back in my day it wasn’t even a park yet. There might have been a field party with a keg or 12 consumed there. whistling
