It’s time to coordinate another unofficial IDO gathering and celebrate Spring! Let’s get together and get some facetime with our fellow IDOers! This is for anyone who wants to come and say “howdy”, whether you’re part of IDO Fishing, Hunting, Ice, or all three. Hesitant to come because you don’t really know anyone? That’s the PERFECT reason to come say hi and have a burger! These gatherings are unofficial and just meant to be a fun way for anyone who wants to gather and meet fellow IDOers.

Please reply to this thread so we know how many we’ll have coming and we can save some seats!

Oh…can life get any better? I haven’t checked with the boss but I’m in!

Dang I got an eye doc appointment that day at 4. I will make one of these someday. Not complaining dear Sharon, but I thought we were gonna try one on the north end of town so us guys on the other half of the cities can attend easier. We have burger joints with crappy beers up here too.

Looking forward to this post-snowpocolyptic celebration!
That is a great place for it. My wife and I will be there.
Wonder if there will still be piles of snow visible then?

Sharon does a bunch to make these events happen, my 2 cents is keep it south (this from someone who lives central)

just curious.if your central…what difference would it make which direction would you drive???

i live in cold spring west of st cloud……..i’ve concidered driving all the way to the south side if it would ever work out!!!!!

i’m still waiting for EPG to set one up at his schack in Outing so this IDO video thing gets rolling!!!

Think she is about 40 min. from me. If I had any ambition I would have it at the park by my house, I am between 94 & 36 0ff of Hi. 280. To me I am very much in the middle but I have always felt it all revolves around me anyway

Bummer my son has fishing league that night. I hope to make the next one.

I’m also with John on this One. I really want tp make it to one of these, But the drive from the St. Cloud area to Inver Grove Heights on a Thur. after work is a rather long one. Hopefully you can set up one more in the North Metro for one of them one day. Something in the Maple Grove or Blaine area would be a nice middle point for a lot of the North metro People

I really want to make it to one of these some day. Sadly a 3 Hr. round trip on a Thur. is a little to far. Thanks for setting these up Sharon. I’m sure the members who can make it will have a blast. One of you have a cold one for me. Even if its just a want to be Beer like a Hamm’s

No worries! Like I mentioned above, a northern gathering is still in my plans at some point!

Anyone is welcome to coordinate something though if they know of a location they like nearer to them! I usually see maybe 10-15 people at gatherings, just depending on time of year and location. So many of us are scattered throughout MN and many folks aren’t even in MN so I know it’s hard to get a big group together for just a casual evening.

Hopefully the WI guys don’t start asking when I’ll coordinate a gathering over in WI!

Screw those Wisconsin guys! I will text you some ideas on spots up here Sharon. Again we really appreciate you organizing all of these. Us guys as usual are terrible at this stuff and it would probably just not happen if it was up to us. You are awesome

This is 100% true

I’m not 100%, but count me in. I’ll let BK know if I can’t attend, or just update here. I haven’t made it to an IDO gathering since Aaron Rodgers had to step in for an injured Brett Favre, so I’m probably due!
