The IDO Chili Cook-Off was a blast last night! Thanks for everyone who was able to come, make chili, or contribute in other ways! I had a wondeful time getting to meet some new faces, seeing some familar ones, and it was a great evening to eat all the delicious chilis! 😋🍻🌶🥫🍅

We had a three-way tie between EPG, Rodwork, and Dave B, so the first place winner was drawn from the 3 and that is EPG! 🏆🥳 I thought all of the chilis were fantastic and each had their own uniqueness about them! Thanks so much to James for coming to the cook-off and for the grand prize!

I can’t wait to coordinate another gathering soon (probably northwest metro 😉) and looking forward to another fall cook-off next year!!

It was a fantastic event! Great meeting all of you. All your Chilis set the bar pretty high. Gotta make some adjustments for next time! Thank you Sharon for pulling all of this together!

I gotta say, regardless of the fact that he builds rods, it was super kind of rodwork to give his prize to little werm.

Sheryl and I had a great time meeting everyone and tasting all of the chili, in my mind they were all winners in their own way.
All of us were winners with the way the day turned out after a cloudy cool start!

Getting to meet the host of this site was a pleasure as well!
James, in listening to a couple of your stories it is obvious even after all of the fishing you have done I could hear the excitement of the chase hasnt left you and that the passion is still there, I hope you never lose that and it just becomes another job.

Cat misses you already.😍

It was a great time and I enjoyed meeting everyone face to face. All the chili was fantastic. I can’t wait to do something like this again. Thanks to everyone who came. I just wished I had more time to visit with everyone. It was a ton of fun.

Good times! Great chili! Sharon, that was a wonderful location. Nice to have those lights come on at sunset. Perfect hoodie weather and no bugs.

I had a “blast” not just from eating all the great tasting chili either, it was nice to finally meet and put faces with names, I will certainly try to make chili at the next one. Thank you Sharon for setting this all up and expect pictures of the great food from the griddle. and Shout out to EPG and Rodworks for the fun stories and all the laughs cant wait to do it again.

Looks like a Great time. I’m bummed I was not able to attend. It would have been great to meet all of you. Hope there will be another event like this one in the near future and I’m able to make it to that one.
