Slick. What does that do to your head room?

It brings it down a little bit but with the clamp on the back of the light you could always move it around to a different spot depending on your setup.

Cool idea. Thanks for putting a video together.

Where did you get the tape light from?

The MFG specs say 60 led bulb/units use 4.8 watts at 12 volts so that is .4 amps/hr. A common 1270 flasher battery is 12 volts 7amp/hrs so by doing the math (if I did it correctly) means about 17 hrs run time when using 60 led units.

It would be neat see your run times to see if the numbers are real world.
Have you checked the run time on your set up?
How many “bulb” units do you have strung up?

I ordered the tape light from amazon as it its the cheapest. Usually about 10 bucks for a 16 foot roll. I did see one listing had 2 rolls for 13. I also ordered a 12 foot section of 20 gauge wire from them for next to nothing. I had the wire connectors and battery connectors already.

Seems like it might be good but a fair amount of steps and costs to bring it together. I don’t know…too much work for me for short term lighting. A few hours would be all you need, not spending all night in a hub. I found these on clearance from Northland for $6.70 each. A pack of batteries, and can hang them anywhere from the hub supports. I ordered a couple, will see how they work out.
