Welcome to the Wisconsin Ice Fishing League(WIFL), presented by Wisconsin Team Circuit. Wisconsin Team Circuit is bringing its’ 13 years of organizing and running bass tournaments to the competitive ice fishing world. An ice fishing tournament circuit, such as this, is a first of its’ kind in Wisconsin. An ice fishing tournament is not to be confused with ice fishing contests or derbys.
Wisconsin Ice Fishing League is a series of 4 individual team tournaments where the anglers compete for money and a spot in the Wisconsin Pan Fish Championship in March, 2011. The format is similar to the two bass tournament Series listed in another part of this website. The competitors in WIFL will fish for a lot of money, both in the qualifying tournaments and the Championship, and under very definitive rules. Pay backs for each tournament, the Championship and the general rules governing each tournament are listed on the entry form.
Each qualifying tournament will be open to the first 60 teams who register. Each team will consist of 2 people. Entry fee for each qualifying tournament is $100 per team. The four qualifying tournaments will last 5 hours, beginning at 8:00AM and ending a 1:00PM. The team limit is a total of 12 pan fish. Pan fish eligible are sunfish, bluegill, pumpkinseed, perch and crappie. All weigh-ins will be conducted indoors at the weigh-in sites listed with the lakes. The rules explain how each team’s fish are transported to the weigh-in site. There will be a meeting on the morning of each tournament to cover specific rules and the procedures each team will follow during the tournament.

Following are the tournament dates, lakes, weigh-in sites and the snowmobile clubs who will be our observers. Where it is shown (limited section), that means the tournament waters will be restricted to a certain section of that lake. Maps showing those sections will be on this site at a later date.
