Thanks for posting! This is our first event, and as of right now, it looks like we’re going to have some turnout. Due to a lack of major funding, we are going to be giving out cash prizes for the largest Perch, Crappie, Bluegill, and will be paying down 2 places for each (if there is enough turn out). We will have hot dogs on the ice, and the real draw should be our 10 dollar raffle where you can win some truly great prizes. We’ve got multiple quality rods (one baitcasting combo) to give away, including a 150 dollar custom rod (winner will get their name engraved free of charge) from Mel’s Custom Rods in Rochester, MN. A quality Penn spinning reel, Fly rod case and tackle box from plano, gift cards from area businesses, custom painted lures, lures from Lethal Weapon Lure Co. and Bizz Baits, and more still to come. We’re hoping some IDO members can come down and join the fun and support the WSU Fishing club! The funds will primarily be used to finance our season on the FLW College Fishing Tour, where the first tournament is at Table Rock, MO in just over one month. If anyone would like to make a donation in the form of cash or prizes to give away, please send me a private message! I speak on the behalf of the fishing club, that we all would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks, and again, hope to see you there!
