    Timo:

Not trying to be a smart azz… are you talking tannic brown water??? Otherwise brackish water and walleyes don’t mix together well… Perhaps a description of said water and/or location…

I’m overseas in Finland southern part near the capital by the sea (Helsinki).. . .
LOL yes it’s barkish mostly fresh but there is salt in there.
During daylight perch and walleye seems to be easy but night can’t figure it out. Locals laugh that I’m out there at night but I ‘ve had outstanding trips in Canada while night fishing,
That’s why my chaps are burin’. . .And I want to prove to these jackbags that I am able to gettem’ at night.

Not much brackish water here in MN. I’d have to say to try and target clearer lakes if you can. In MN, some of the more murky lakes don’t have much of a night bite.

That’s about all I got for ya.

Wind does push in clearer water but ice pops a ton gets nerve rackin’ when I’m out four miles from shore alone.clear meaning maybe six to two foot vis.

I would call clear more like 10′ or so.

Also, fish shallower water than you would in the daytime. How shallow? It’s all relative to your body of water.

Humps and steep points that roll into a flat (raised table top)
The size of a basketball court is where I fiah at night 6 foot to 8′ deep.

You’re fishing for zander, correct? Maybe they just don’t bite at night.

    I like your ambition.

Timo-“Brackish” I can’t speak towards, but a lot of our lakes here run from slightly to severely stained from the swamps that drain into them. The darkest of them only have a foot at most visibility, and on these any kind of a night bite is tough if not non-existent. Most of the better night bites in my area are on the clearer lakes. It can actually work out in your favor, being that you can often find a decent day time bite on a stained lake, then shift over in the afternoon and set up in time for a nite bite on one of the clearer ones.
