I hit the pond today in search of jumbos, which were pretty easy to find. I went pretty close to a familiar spot and hammered them. 28ft of water and a muddy bottom. A firetiger tungsten jig tipped with red spikes was the ticket. Nothing on spoons. These fish weren’t suicidal by any means, so if you think there easy picking think again. I really had to work them. The key is to MOVE,MOVE,MOVE until you land on a good pod of fish. I had my 20 by 1:15 and released numerous others too.

Nice fish. I have a spot that is doing the same thing. No limit here. Last two times getting a 100 was just a matter of time.
