    Mille Lacs has plenty of ice (2 plus feet) and the shorelines are holding well. Snowmobile and wheeler is fine anywhere on the south end right now. The big jumbos have the feed bag on. I was able to take a break yesterday and take a couple of photos. If you have a chance to get away before the open water season starts take a trip to mille lacs and chase down some nice jumbo perch. They can be caught close to shore now in fact within walking distance from shore. Simple eurolarve and your favorite jiggin spoon is all you really need…Good luck and be safe..
