Well, I am very happy with my SnoSuit so far except for one thing. The arctic weight powder skirt on my jacket makes no sense as to button them correctly. Comparing the buttons from my jacket to the one on the SnoSuit website they are installed differently. So, my arctic weight powder skirt doesn’t work correctly. I have contacted CS at Frabill and SnoSuit and we will have to see the outcome of this issue.

Are you unbuttoning both sides and then rebuttoning the two
    pieces together?

Are the buttons misaligned with the snaps on the other side of the snow skirt? Just trying to get a feel for what you’re seeing. This is the first time I’ve heard of an issue with the snow skirt.

I don’t ever remember using it. Do most of you guys use them?

I was going to ask the same thing. I always button the skirt on the bottom of the bibs, but I’ve never messed with the one on the jacket.

I’ve never used it myself. I really don’t see where its needed for the way I fish or sled.

For the first and last time mine performed flawlessly.

I had never unbuttoned mine until Ice asked the question.

No skirt for me either. They are for the girls.

I love my Sno Suit, warmest thing on this planet.

It might not be for some but I’m sure it is very useful for others. I do know that if Snosuit took the time to build it in to the jacket they’ll want it to work as intended. I’m confident the original poster will be well taken care of.

NO doubt in my mind that they will remedy the issue.

To be honest, I did not even realize the suit had those skirts.

I guess I should look over things better.

Has anyone else use their gloves? I have both the mittems or choppers and the finger gloves and like both but I think the gloves are warmer than the finger ones.

    Quality through and through.

Love the mitt’s I received for Christmas a couple years ago.

So I’m sitting here reading this thread wondering “what the heck is a snow skirt and why didn’t I know about this before?”

I’ve used mine for two years…shouldn’t I have notice a skirt??

I went and took my suit out of the truck and checked it out.

Brian, have you found the little light under the chest pocket yet?

no, the buttons are not misaligned, there are 4 buttons that hold it together, two outta four button correctly but the other two are backwards and do not snap into the others without folding the flap backwards.

I hadn’t used the skirt before either but the other day I was fishing beside my truck and I was getting a terrible updraft between my suit and jacket and I knew it had a built in skirt so I was going to use it and realized the buttons were incorrect.

I heard back from Frabill today and I have to call them to get it taken care of. So, I will be doing that as soon as I can. That was fast email turn around. I’m sure they will take care of me. I have to send it back to them so they can inspect it to correct or replace.

I guess I’m a bit confused with the extra buttons on the left hand side (wearing).
I originally looked at it as having two options
for connecting the left side to the right side depending on
how many girl scout cookies you eaten in the last month.
Not sure about the extra buttons (inner) on the left hand
side. It does appear that if the inner buttons were installed
reverse of what they are currently that they could
be used to connect to the right side so that you would
be using all four on each side.
Not sure if this is a defect or not but I don’t see a useful purpose for the left hand inner buttons.

Is this what your seeing Ice?
