Lake Kegonsa

    Can anyone tell me how far of a walk you have on Kegonsa to decent perch water? Any info on where to park or any reports?

    You can park at the boat landing on the north end of the lake at Williams Point and be within a couple hundred yards or so of the main basin. Perch fishing has been pretty tough out there from what I hear. I hit it once in January and it didnt do too well so I haven’t gone back.

    This time of year the fish are moving upstream. Not many walkers out right now, but good fishing within walking distance from quam landing.

    except we didn’t knock em dead. Another rough bite in what will likely be my last ice trip of the year. Redwing in a couple weeks. Time to get the boat out and prepped.
