Pool 8 Perch

    Got out on a Pool 8 back water this afternoon and found the Perch on the chew

    When I punched the holes the water seemed awful murky so I stuck with a rattling spoon and they loved it. They would come up 3-4 feet to eat it on the way down. It was kinda streaky sometimes they wanted the spoon and sometimes the deadstick but the better quality fish came on the deadstick

    While Perch are one of favorite fish to eat they are also one of my least favorite to clean. Speaking of eating that’s what I am going to do right now

    *EDIT* Be careful guys the ice is fine but the shorelines are disappearing fast. I didn’t walk threw any water to get on and walked threw 8 inches of water to get back off

    Nice perch Pat. I’m with you on both counts, eating and cleaning them. That was one of the reason I bought an electric fillet knife

    The way they bit I could get away with using each end of the minnow 1/2 at a time
