    Anybody use the sonar on this unit for icefishing? Wondering how it works compared to a Vexilar or Marcum flasher.

    I was considering this same unit myself. But, I decided to go with the ShowDown Ice Troller. I own a Marcum LX-5 and was looking for a easier unit to hole hop and for the wifey to use. This unit did very much interest me. I’m still wanting to see replies of the unit in action.

    I bought one for this season of ice fishing. I love it! I’ve owned FL8,FL20 and a LX-3. The huminbird 385ci is my favorite. I use the normal summer screen which is nice to read and watch the fish bolt off the bottom. The ice mode is ok and it’s awesome having the GPS right there. Great all around unit.

    yeah, I was wondering how well it works, It’s a $450.00 unit and I’ve seen it as low as $369.00 clearence price.
