    I received a LX-5 for a gift from my wife…….. about 2 months ago. We filled out the warranty papers as well as a mail in rebate form. Well I haven’t received any confirmation on either the warranty or my mail in rebate yet. I E-mailed Marcum personally & have not had a response. Is their response time normally slow?? Just curious if anyone has had a good or bad experience?

    Warranty… I’ve never received anything back after sending in a warranty card.

    I don’t believe the rebates go to or are processed by MarCum. Rebates are usually handled by a processing firm.

    Their response time of late has been very good. Or at least we’ve had some posts of late about good marcum service. Call them tomorrow first thing in the AM and see if you can get some info on that rebate.

    I have exchanged a couple emails with them lately, and had responses within the next day. But if someone is tracking down information for you (ie rebate info) that could take awhile. Marcum’s sales have been well over expectations.

    Regarding the rebates, I sent in the rebate paperwork for my VS625sd the week before christmas and received my premium last week. The form did say to allow 8-10 weeks for processing. You can check the status of your rebate at http://www.web-rebates.com

    I had the same experience. Mailed in my rebate form for the VS625sd the Tuesday after Christmas, got the camera panner in the mail last week also!
