I with you on the early AM Mr. Bowman. It’s a blast watching the world around you wake up. Never know what you might catch running for home across the ice trying to reach the safety of a den before light.
I witnessed deer crossing frozen ice moving from one island to the next. Seen fox hunting along the shoreline for one last snack before calling it a night. Laid peepers on coyotes heading for dens. Had a yote run right up to me while I was kneeled along a tip up once. It made it within 15yards of me before it’s senses kicked in. The look on the dudes face was priceless, you could tell he was thinking the game was over for him as he turned inside out cutting track in a hurry away from me. I still believe I smelled a fart from that wild dog
Great pictures and awesome gills Bob
