Do any fellow IDOers use Muck Boots for ice fishing. Trying to decide on a new pair of boots for the ice that are real warm and waterproof. I just got a new pair of Cabela’s Inferno 2000’s but I’m a little concerned about how they would be walking a long distance in. And if I wear them outside I believe they won’t be returnable. If they don’t happen to work out. Thanks Glenn

I’ve had no issues at all walking distances with the inferno boots. I really like mine. Good luck.

Maybe they’ll be alright. They just seemed real stiff on the back side. They sure felt like they’d be very warm. Thanks for the response.

I haven’t worn the Infernos, but I love my muck boots. They are very warm and 100% water proof. I have spent many a hours ice fishing and have walked many a miles chasing after pheasants with them on. I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

I use Mucks and love em. I would try to find the new Arctic Pro’s if you can. I have the Arctic Sports and have always stayed warm but I havent tested them standing still in super extremes, but great at Zero and above so far.

i use muck boots for ice fishing, hunting and milking cows and there the best boots ive ever had there very durable and worm plus your feet never get wet. the only thing is that you need to tuck a pair of pants under then so they dont wear on your leg but besides that never had a problem with them

I got both Mucks, mickey’s, and a new set of Sorel Alpha pacs. The Sorels are toasty and light but made in a place called Vietnam. Go a size up if you opt for Muck Arctic Pros my 13 are tight in instep. Had to take out insole for room. Cold toes otherwise.
