Well, this weekend I’ll be heading home from college. With dad’s plan to cut some wood on Saturday until 2 o’clock , I will have limited time to fish (busy with a family party on Sunday). I have seen holes drilled at the boat launch in Bay City-has anyone ever fished the little backwater at that boat launch ? I dont feel comfortable going out on Pepin, but I have always wondered if this might be an ok spot to try on Saturday night! I also have had my Eye on Sawmill Slough…on the hotspots map it says it can be good for ice fishing, but I have no idea how to get to it Or if you know of any other spot in the P3/P4 area, that would help too. I’ll be coming from Diamond Bluff.

Worst case scenario, I will still get out on Friday

If anyone has any help, that would be awesome! I will let

you know how I do. PM me if you want

    Tight lines!

Maybe you should do something around the house or maybe do some studying from your college classes instead of trying to find another place to fish. Just my 2 cents.Good luck!

Slab Hunter and I have fished that area in the past. We caught some good sized crappies.
