Wimwuen and I hit Lake Arbutus on Super bowl Sunday targeting walleyes and crappies. We set up in about 20 FOW for the crappies but had holes near by then went as shallow as 8 FOW. After setting up a 2 new tipdowns we hole hopped around. While we would pull enough marks to keep us interested getting them to bite was another thing. But we did get to christen both the tip downs in a 5 minute stretch but they then remained quiet the rest of the time. Lake travel by truck is doable but it better be a 4X4. We caught a few crappies and I had what I believed to be a walleye hit but swung and missed on the hook set.Here’s a few pictures from the day.
