I finally took control of the situation. No more rifling
through duffle bags looking for the correct charger.
I did have to do a little notching for the LX-5 chargers.
Well worth the time and effort especially for traveling
purposes.

Great idea that I will have to do too. Good time saver and you won’t forget things.
Great idea!! I have been thinking about how to clean up the rats nest of chargers I have accumulated. I kind of laugh, usually the companies name is all over stuff you buy. I can honestly say though that the ONLY charger I have that is labeled is the one that came with my vexilar. I have no clue what most of mine are for anymore.
Where did that box come from? Just a plano box?
Thanks for the Idea!!
Great idea! I have done something similar – and in addition to that, I put a piece of tape on each charger when I get it – and write what it is for. It sure makes it easier to know what the heck the charger is for years down the road…
I write what the charger is for on the plug with a metallic silver sharpie as soon as they come out of the box. I have one big drawer that every charger goes in, with each charger bundled with a rubber band so they don’t get tangled up. I like the plano box idea though.
Great idea. I have blown to many chargers plugging them into the electronic. Hate to say but what would be even better yet is if some one came out with a standardized charging system for all electronics. It doesnt seem to matter if you are running Marcom, Vexlar, Bird or what ever they all run on the same batteries. Why dont they all use the same charger?
I cant even interchange the chargers from my marcum camera to the flasher. Maybe baby steps are in order for this to come around. A company like Marcum could start with standardize there charging systems.
How many different ways is there to charge a 12 volt battery?
That is a great idea, it is cold and I have nothing to do so I am off to the store to buy supplies for my new Friday winter project. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Mike,
I upgraded the charging system on my MarCum camera to a
DCS1.I like the plug-in charger vs. the alligator clips and not
having to disconnect anyting.I bought this box at the big K and slapped a MarCum decal
on it. < 10.00 total.
Yep. That what I have/had. Fried 2 of them plugging them into my camera by accident. The plug is the same and fits right into the camera. Atleast you know right away that it is not right. The part that you plug into the wall starts frying right away and in about 5 seconds pops. Time for a new one.
At least make connections different sizes or different shapes. Or maybe make all your electronics have the same charging system. Remember Marcum some of us out here are a little challenged when it comes to such things.
I used to put all my chargers into a small backpack and the cords always got tangled. I will be doing this very soon.
Great Idea and thanks for sharing!
Here I thought it was the cat guys that had to come up with their own equipment.
Great idea Dan!
Hey? Are you sure you’re not a catfisherman in the closet?
