I have been really tired of having to look at a little hand held screen on the ice. Both walking and during travel. So I went out and did what any sane man would do…
I put an HDS 8 on a blue box…lol
Will eventually get the ram mounts to move it on to the sled and wheeler as well.

Nice! Two ice season’s back I used a 112c for winter nav. That one was a little too big. I would imagine that unit will take its place on your boat in the summer, eh?

Yup. It will go up front and then itll get moved onto the work boat during trips as well!
Its not the greatest on the 9 amp battery but it gets the job and with truck travel being everywhere now I am not too concerned about it!
cant beat that Chris……lemme know when you need a partner to hit the ice with…..cant wait to see that on the dashboard of the ford
