    Anyone know where i can find a deal on a Marcum LX5. Mine was stolen and money is tight right now, but i really miss mine and in desperate need of one to replace it.

    Or, is the LX3 a good unit? What features does the LX5 have that the LX3 does not?

    The 5 has the dual beam transducer option, 2500 Watts vs. 2000 Watts you get with the Lx3 and you get better target separation.

    Thanks James, yea it sucks but some people think they can just take stuff when other people worked to get it… I have looked everywhere for the LX5 at a cheaper price and cant find one, not even a refurb anywhere.

    Either will aid in finding fish. The 5 will be better if
    you fish steep breaks or in close proximity to other sonar
    units.

    There is a used LX-5 in the IDO classifieds.
