    Nice, I and Tuck are doing the same thing this year to see first hand which one we like. At the end of the year hope to have Tuck write on our results.

    Nice unit! On the last trip I made to Fox Lake, a guy next to me had the LX-5. We ran it side-by-side with my oldest FL-8. For shallow water, it had so much better definition. Especially with lethargic fish that were not overly active. I’m on the fence with replacing one of my Vexilars with either a LX-5 or the VS625SD camera. I would love a chance to test drive the camera for a day…..since I’m leaning a bit more towards that.

    Congrats. I know you’ll love the LX-5. I use mine all year – as soon as open water starts it goes in the bow of my boat.
