Fished today from 7 until 5. The fish bit all day and it was fantastic as you can tell by the photos. First spot i setup in was only about 12fow and only found small gills. Then i went out and started drilling holes to find a hole i was loooking for and then found it. In about 10fow i finally found the bigger gills. The fish today were biting on the slender spoon made from CJS. In order to get the bigger ones to bite you had to jig it twice aggressively and then let it fall back into the hole, just like i said in the other report. And because the tourneyis next weekendand i was trying to find the big gills, the ones we caught like the one jeremy is holding were released.We ended up catching 17 gills over 8in andd all were releasedd. At the end of the day, we tried to find the crappies and found small ones until this guy came up thee hole. At 2lbs and about 3oz, this 15in is going on the wall. The vexilar was our greatest help today along with the strikemaster solo and clam nanook. All in all, cant wait for this weekend. Thanks for reading, and till next time,tight lines!
