I’ve started using sufix ice line since gamma doesn’t make ESP any more. I have no complaints and have used it in single digit conditions.

I use P-Line floroclear 4 lb. Been using it for the last 4 years and it has exceeded all my expetations. It’s a little hard to find but I go the extra mile to get it. Well worth the trouble.

My Berkley XT has never ever iced up on me…in July.

I’ll second the suffix ice line. I put that on one reel this year and so far, it gets two thumbs up.

I have various fluorocarbons on most of my other rods and power pro ice on one. The PP ice is the worst line for icing up.

Suffix got my vote. This it the 2nd season using it and don’t see myself changing anytime soon.

I started using the suffix 3 lb this year. Its pretty decent line, I like it quite a bit actually..but I’ve had some troublesome break offs halfway between the knot and the reel on several occasions. I have no idea why…I suppose this happens from time to time with most lines, but it sucks when it does. Trilene micro ice has always performed for me.

If it gets wet and it gets cold it will ice up on you. However the flourocarbon type lines seems to ice up far less.
