Do you think that the color of your line makes a difference while fishing through a hole?

What do you think the best ice line is for fishing a clear lake?

I am begining to wonder if the red cajun line doesnt become invisible like it says on the box

I use it and like it, I fish alot of clear lakes with good results. If I were to ice fish in your area I would be using the red line, it simply works for me.

I’m starting to do what a lot of bass fisherman do. Cover the 12 or so inches up from the hook with a black Sharpie.
Just eliminates one more thing not to think about.

When fishing a clear lake, as i did all day yesterday, a flourocarbon leader is a must. I have direct proof on how this will result in more fish and better hits, vrs a mono or superline rod with no leader. Even at 60 feet down, this will still make a huge difference!
