you dont put them to use.

I have a Clam 2000 and I was trying figure out how to get my LX-5 off the floor to make a little more room and I think I have come up with the answer.

The pics are just a quick idea I came up with, the support will stay on the shack corner pole and the shelf base comes out and will get put on the floor of the shack to fold up.When finished all edges will be rounded and then painted.

When sitting on a 6 gallon pail it is at head level, which I am hoping will keep the neck aches away on longer days.

    **NOTE**Jan/08/11

Today it was painted and had straps added, thanks for the suggestions.

Maybe a strap to hold it down in case it gets bumped?

Looks good! But I would seriously call an attourny and find out how much it would be to get that design pattented. I am working on something myself and all ready have some wierd pattent for just the idea. Anyways, really great idea though.

Take a bunch of pictures of your idea, and write up a very detailed description of your idea. Make a few copies and mail one to yourself, and one to a reliable person you know. DO NOT OPEN THEM when they arrive. You will have a date stamp on the envelope that is almost as golden as a notary public signature/seal. Next, peruse a patent procedure. I made this mistake of not doing this with a product that HT has out….I can’t prove they copied my idea, but it has a striking resemblance. A copy right attorney I talked with said that if I didn’t have anything date stamped proving my idea, I would never stand a chance. So, I never looked further into it to see where their “idea” originated at. But sending the letters out was his recommended short term protection on future ideas and concepts.

Way before I posted this ,Pics were taken and dates documented and yada yada yada yada.

I do that with EVERY idea I come up with that gets a prototype built.

Its not all about $$$$$.. I enjoy making things and showing them off to peeps ,If they are so dishonest they would say it was their idea then so be it …I know the truth !!!! and I for one SLEEP well

Neat idea. Might need a strap to keep electronics from fall off when someone bumps the fish house.

I like the idea of my flasher not sitting on the ice, but…I am a line watcher. I need my flasher right next to the hole. Having it “head level” would cause me to be glancing up to the flasher and back to my line constantly. I’d probably get more neck aches doing that Just MHO…
