How is your ATV set-up? *pictures*

It seems like everytime you go out, something gets broken riding in the shack. Therefore I have slowly been trying to keep as little as possible back in the sled. Last year I bought the Otter Rod Locker to keep my rods from breaking, that helped alot with staying organized. No more “pail of rods”.

This spring I upgraded to a new ATV and outfitted with everything I could imagine for ice fishing purposes. The only thing I couldn’t figure out is where to put the Otter Rod Locker???? The front rack was taken up by the auger the rear had the storage box on it…Why not put foam in the front storage box and use that?! So I made a pattern, cut out the foam and now I have my new rod locker.

In the back box I have my heater, Marcum, Radio, Ice scoop, 11# propane tank, and room for a small soft sided cooler. I virtually have nothing in the sled. Out back I have a “sit and fish” pail that carries the minnows and if its warm out I have something to sit on.

Question i have: how is everybody else setting up theirs? Any good ideas?

All that I carry in the sled is a couple totes with reel weeds, a couple 1 pound bottles for my Little Buddy heater plus the heater, another rod box with my tip down rods. Pretty much everything in the sled is either unbreakable or protected by what it is in. That Otter Monster Box is the best. And enormous, with 10.5 cubic feet. I have more information in the Rate my ice rig group about it. I can’t immagine how much room I would have if I had purchased the Large Monster box. (15 cubic feet) And it keeps the auger away from everything.

The only thing that travels in the sled is an extra ice scoop, a fish measuring stick, and a couple rubber mats to put my feet on. Everything else goes in the back of the Ranger.

I run a Polaris Sportsman 500, I have a auger rack mounted on the rear and have my Lowrance 522 mounted on the front rack so I can use my Navionics chip to locate my fishing spot’s, keep it simple for run & gunning!
