spark plug Question..

    went to FF to get a new plug for the auger,old plug is a J6Y, all I could find was a J6. what does the Y stand for and does it matter?also its a strikemaster,thanks and happy new year!!

    which strikemaster do you have?? I went from a CJ6Y to a CJ8Y which is a little hotter plug and it runs alot better and starts even easier. not that it started hard in the first place. I would take the time to make sure you get the right plug because the auger is the only thing you cant ice fish with out!

    Shouldnt matter.Pretty common plug for small engines.Menards,Hardware stores,part stores etc. should all carry them.
