Managed to hit the hard water yesterday for some great fishing. The perch bite is still on with many takers as well as a bonus 29″ northern on the ice rod that liked to peel out line. Also, a 10″ gill and a crappie. The perch are still active in 8 feet of water, but the crappie came out of 12 feet. The northern took a fathead in 15 feet of water. It seems like if fishing slows down it is best to move sooner than later.
