The biggest difference between the 380 and the 825c
..is color of course.
Really the only difference besides color is the monitor. With the 825c, because of the size of the screen, you’ll see better detail.
Set them both up side by side pointing at a distant object say 40 feet away. You’ll easily see what I’m talking about by detail. The color helps too.
The 825c and the sd are two different animals.
What can easily be seen on the LCD screen is the position of the camera, the depth and the temp. By pressing one button you’ll have the condition of your battery.
The option of “Color Kill” gives the owner more versitility when using the camera a night or in very deep water were there isn’t any light. It’s the same as having two cameras a b&w and a color in one container.
What you can’t see is the new Sony Super HAD >>II<< camera head. It needs much less light than the 380 or the 825c. It’s designed to give the owner the best most detailed underwater picture in todays market.
Only the 625sd and 825sd have this camera head.
Other features available on the two sd units are the 300% brighter monitor for true daylight out on the ice viewing and the 9 amp battery.
380 Good
825c Better
825sd Best!
