A few Snosuit issues

As I’ve said many times here I really like my Snosuit Bibs. That being said I’ve had a few small issues with the stiching pulling loose as sereral spots. Anyone else seen any stiching issues. I’ve been able to fix all of them with a little time and a needle and spider line. So no big deal. I’ve only fished them 1 ice season so far and have had to stich up 3 different areas. I also put a small cut ( My fault ) in the material just below the knee pad. I think I must have caught it with the auger blade. It is only about a 1/8″ long. Anyone have any ideas of what to use on it to keep it from ripping further. I was thinking something like a vinyl repair that is used on car seats or some type of Glue. Not all that worried about the looks of the final result, I would just like to fix it befor it increases in size. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

I would think a call to your dealer/Snosuit would remedy the problem.

I thought about that but the Snosuit is over a year old and I don’t still have my receipt. I also do not want to be without it for any period of time at this time of the year.

Call Snosuit directly and ask what they recommend. I had a bad zipper in my Snosuit jacket and they sent me a new jacket, no questions asked, and they didn’t even ask for the receipt. All they told me was it was under warranty. Can’t get better than that.

I decided to give them a call. They said if i were to send then in right now it would most likely take 3 to 4 weeks to get them evaluated and returned. They said to go ahead and use them til the end of the season and then go ahead and send them in and they would either re-stich them or replace them. I can’t ask for more than that.. They said go ahead and use a vinyl repair on the small rip for now and to go ahead and stich up any more loose stiching. If I have to stich up any more spots my sewing is going to improve thats for sure.

Any sewing/fabric place would have a small bottle of “Fray Check”. It’s made to stop the tear from expanding.

Thats the same stuff that Snosuit said to use on it. I will have to pick some up.
