A few buddys and I braved the cold a few days ago. We ended up hitting a local pond but were greatly rewarded. We set up in 25 FOW and right when we hit the power on the vex the screen lit up. The best time for us was between 6:30-7:30 when it was still dark. It seemed like glow was a must for and fish to hit. We did film a video of our last fish. It was the biggest pure bred bluegill that we had seen that day.

    All fish were C.P.R.

Gills are my favorite fish and I release the vast majority I catch over the year. It was really nice to hear you CPR’d those awsome fish because even I dont do that in the winter.

Man those are great fish! What lure where you using, or did I just miss that? Anyways, in Michigan here we should be out on the ice in another week or so. I had some buddies just get out this weekend and one of them went through. He was wearing a PFD though so it was all good and he brought an extra set of clothes with him. They killed the perch in about 11 feet of water. Keep up the great work!
