frontenac/maiden rock area

    The ice looks terible at the bottom end of Pepin and suspect it’s the same in that area. There’s just to much current and snow on the ice to be safe.

    I’ve been all along Pepin from Lake City to Frontenac twice in the last week and have not seen a soul out on the grren ice. Lots of snow on the ice and lots of water in with it. The week prior I was on the same route twice as well and the ice had a lot of water coming past the cracks before we got the snow. I’ve never seen the ice look so scary.
