Help me out guys. I’m thinking about taking a bunch of guys (8 to 10) out on the ice. I was thinking LOTW or Mille Lac. We’re looking for sleepers 2days/2nights. I know LOTW doesn’t have a night bite 
Give me a few hints please. Thank in advance 
I think the numbers of fish on LOTW would make up for the lack of night bite. Thats when the bar bites starts anyway. 
Both good choices, just depends on how far you want to drive.

Red Lake might be a good option. The fish bite at night at times and you can usually catch plenty of fish
been to mille, didn’t go to good but that’s fishing. One 26″ eye. Stayed with Cookie on red. not bad probably around 50 walleye four guys only back than walleye wasn’t open. fish seemed thin like cigars biggest was 25″. Was up to LOTW and stayed at WIGWAM twice this fall and slaughtered the eyes Biggest 28″
Lake of the Woods, a deck of cards and a cribbage board – a recipe for relaxation! ….oh, and a good pout recipe if you insist on a night bite.
